As the company's first Demand Generation Manager, my role involved developing a marketing strategy and running all marketing initiatives to drive more leads for the sales team and also to improve customer loyalty.
Main Responsibilities:
Developed and executed the overall digital marketing strategy, and led all aspects of demand generation and lead management/nurturing.
Rebuilt and ran a comprehensive marketing technology stack and a new company website.
Set up and managed a small marketing team with 2 direct reports.
Key Accomplishments:
Rebuilding the marketing/sales technology infrastructure improved work efficiency, the effectiveness of marketing processes and the alignment between marketing and sales.
As a result, we achieved an average of 80% year-over-year increase in marketing qualified leads (MQLs) generated during the months of 2019.
Implemented several customer marketing initiatives (including a customer newsletter, an automated customer onboarding process and a product reviews programme), which improved product usage and customer satisfaction, reduced churn rate and increased upsell and the number of customer referrals.
Avvio is a software company and digital agency, providing a booking engine technology and digital marketing solutions to the hotel industry in Ireland and the UK. Avvio's mission is to help hotels drive profitability and lower their cost of sale by empowering hotels to convert more visitors on their own branded website.
As Avvio's first SEO Strategist, I was tasked to set up and manage an SEO team and help clients drive more website traffic and bookings from organic search.
Main Responsibilities:
Developed the overall SEO strategy and direction for Avvio’s client portfolio (200+ hotels across Ireland, the UK & the US).
Led the SEO team that managed all SEO activities (incl. website launches/migrations, SEO audits) for clients.
Provided SEO leadership and guidance to the wider Avvio team.

As one of Avvio's Digital Marketing Account Managers, I worked with a large portfolio of clients (including the Dalata Hotel Group, Ireland's largest hotel operator with brands like the Maldron and the Clayton Hotels), helping them develop their digital marketing strategy and execute marketing campaigns.
Main Responsibilities:
Managed client relationships and conducted regular customer meetings.
Planned and executed SEO, PPC and Metasearch campaigns to grow website traffic, direct bookings and revenue for the individual hotels.
Assisted clients with content strategies and social media advertising campaigns.
Key Accomplishments:
Increased direct bookings by an average of 13% year-over-year across my portfolio.
Sold the premium service of Metasearch (paid listings on aggregator sites, like Google Hotel Ads, TripAdvisor, Trivago, Kayak, etc.) to several clients. This marketing channel generated an average ROI of 1000% for these hotels.
Project managed the migration of several websites from an SEO standpoint for the Maldron Hotels brand.
AIB is one of the largest commercial banks in Ireland, offering a full range of personal and corporate banking services. As the company’s first dedicated SEO specialist, I was responsible for devising SEO strategies for all AIB websites and managing all SEO projects (including technical, on-site, local and off-site SEO).

Developed the SEO strategies & tactics for all AIB websites (both retail and business banking).
Managed all SEO and content marketing projects, while working closely with multiple teams/departments across the organisation.

Recovered the organic search visibility of AIB’s new Personal Banking portal in 2014 following a mismanaged website migration.
After a successful recovery, the website's organic search traffic increased by an average of 65% and its organic traffic share by nearly 80% year-over-year.

As the agency's first dedicated PPC specialist, I was responsible for running Google Adwords (since rebranded as Google Ads) campaigns for all existing PPC clients and setting up the account for new ones.
Main Responsibilities:
Managed several PPC campaigns for clients in various industries (e.g. automotive, software, e-commerce, healthcare, education, legal, tourism), targeting different geographic locations (including Ireland, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, the Middle East, etc.).

Successfully rebuilt some existing Google Adwords accounts, which improved Quality Scores, increased conversion volume and reduced ad spend.

The Alexandra Group used to be the largest bookstore chain, publishing company and e-commerce store in Hungary.
After spending 6 months as an Online Marketing Assistant and finishing my Master's in Marketing, I was promoted to Online Marketing & E-commerce Manager and was tasked to run all online marketing activities for the e-commerce business.

Managed a display advertising portfolio (with a budget of €10-15k per month) while working with content partners (some of the largest websites in Hungary).
Collaborated with the IT department to make improvements on the website.

Filmtrailer.hu is one of the most popular independent online movie magazines in Hungary. I built this website with a friend/colleague as a side project, and for several years was managed by the two of us.
During its peak, the website had over 20,000 unique visitors per day with an active community.
Main Responsibilities:
Website development, web design and content management in a WordPress environment.
Wrote, edited and proofread articles.
Managed all aspects of digital marketing and SEO (incl. technical SEO, on-page optimisation & link building).
Key Accomplishments:
Achieved great organic search visibility with top 3 rankings in Google.hu for most of the relevant key phrases. These organic rankings were the key driver of traffic, with 60-70% of visitors came from Google organic search.
In terms of website traffic, we reached the 100,000 visitors per month milestone within a year and 500,000 visitors/month by early 2012.
Built a loyal follower base on Facebook, surpassing 10,000 fans in 2011.
